Statistics show that African American outdoor recreation participation rates are around 8% while Caucasian participation is at 80% according to The 2009 Outdoor Foundation's Recreation Participation Report.

Through our indoor and outdoor environmental education lessons, people are becoming more conscious of the outdoor world around them and their impact on it.
