LITTLE FRIENDS OF THE WISSAHICKON REGISTRATION
Friends of the Wissahickon has partnered with Let's Go Outdoors to offer the "Little Friends of the Wissahickon" program. This is a FREE story program for Kindergarten through 2nd graders enrolled in the School District of Philadelphia. Teachers, parents and/or educators of K-2nd graders are invited to participate. - Educators read "Good Night Wissahickon Valley Park," as a fun way to provide Wissahickon Valley Park information.
- Incorporates reading, map identification, nature and outdoor awareness.
- Flexible scheduling allows easy incorporation into your current classroom routine.
- Kids learn about nature and local waterways through story pictures, maps, and interactive items.
- Certificates of participation AND a FREE COPY of the book will be given to all children taking part in the program.
