Join Let's Go Outdoors, Temple University, and Healing Ourselves Outdoors Together (HOOT) partners for a Big Adventure Day focused on "Watersheds and Wildlife" in our cities. By joining us for our Big Adventure Day, you'll get to be a NATURE EXPLORER at a super cool site in your city. Fun Educators and knowledgeable Naturalists will be at Wildwood Park in Harrisburg! And The Discovery Center in Philadelphia will have binoculars to explore birds and activities to try. Whichever location you pick, you'll get to be creative with watershed art, wildlife games, and making wildflower seed bombs.
Our Big Adventure Days will be taking place in two locations (different dates/times):
- 10am-1pm, Saturday, April 27th, 2024 in Harrisburg, PA at Wildwood Park, 100 Wildwood Way, Harrisburg, PA
- 9am-12pm, Saturday, May 18th, 2024 in Philadelphia, PA at The Discovery Center, 3401 Reservoir Drive, Philadelphia, PA
