What if a program/trip has reached capacity or is sold out?

If you register for a program/trip that has reached capacity or is sold out, you will be put on a waitlist or given the option to do so.  You will be notified as soon as space becomes available for the number of individuals you are registering.


Are Let's Go Outdoors' activities only for people of color?

Not at all.  We welcome participation from all ethnic backgrounds and are non-discriminatory.


Are there minimum or maximum numbers for programs/trips?

Due to the preparation and logistics required for our sessions and trips, we normally require a minimum number of registrants to host the activity.  If a session is canceled due to minimum numbers not being met, you will be contacted and provided with alternative options.  As for maximum numbers, our sessions normally accommodate up to 25 participants and trips max out between 20-50, depending on the destination.


Are there age restrictions for Let's Go Outdoors activities?
All of our programs/trips require children to attend with a parent/guardian.  Therefore, we do not have age restrictions, though some activities will post a "preferred" age, to allow you to determine a session that will best suit your child's age and learning level.


What is your ADVENTURE PROGRAM cancellation policy?

Refunds are not provided for activity session purchases.  However, if you foresee that you will be unable to take part in a session, you can transfer it to another individual or attend another adventure program in the future, within the same calendar year.  Should you wish to utilize either of these options, contact us and we will gladly assist you.


What is your TRIP cancellation policy?
To receive a trip purchase refund, cancellations must be made at least 14 days in advance.  To cancel a trip registration, email registration@letsgooutdoors.net or call us to let us know you need to cancel (cancellations cannot be made on our website).


Trip refunds will be less $5 per registration due to processing fees.  For example, if you paid for two registrations at $40 per person, totaling $80, your refund would be $70.  Another example, if you paid for a campout event at $50 per tent, your refund would be $45.  Refunds will be issued by check only.  Refunds will not be given on check payments until there is verification that the check has cleared.


Paid trip registrations are transferable to other participants.  However, we need advanced notice that there will be someone attending in your place.  NOTE:  Cancellations with insufficient notice, no-shows, and late arrivals who miss the group's departure (if we are providing transportation) will not receive a refund.​​
