Let's
Go Outdoors is a membership based outdoor activity program that takes place at local parks, neighborhood centers, elementary schools and other family-friendly locations. Each month
relates to a particular theme, and within each month, there are four
weekly sessions (usually held on Saturdays), which are 60 minutes in
length and facilitated by an activity leader.
Each weekly session gives members a chance to have fun, learn, as well as,
experience real-life, practical outdoor recreation scenarios and events.
During the final weekend of the month, there is an optional "excursion,"
which allows participants an opportunity to apply skills learned
throughout the month, by traveling near and/or far to indulge in a
half-day or overnight outdoor recreation activity.
