Canoeing Trip Details
Excursion: Canoeing
Destination: Delaware Canal State Park
Date: Saturday, August 24, 2013
Time: 8:00 AM, Depart from meeting location
2:30 PM, Depart Delaware Canal State Park
3:30 PM, Estimated return to meeting location
Cost: $40/non-members, $25 members
Details:
Summer is known for some hot days, so canoeing is a great way to cool off. In addition to cooling off, you'll relax as you paddle along and experience the serenity of one of the parks calming lakes. Experienced staff will guide us through paddling basics and lead us along the Delaware River for a fun leisurely paddle where we will sight-see and enjoy identifying local wildlife. Ages 5+ preferred.
Includes:
- Round-trip transportation
- Early arrival coffee and donuts
- Bag lunch: sandwich, chips, cookie and bottled water
- Discussion and travel with knowledgeable, experienced, enthusiastic guides
- A connection to a community of similar individuals to build friendships and/or establish relationships
Other Items to Keep in Mind:
- Minimum age, if any, requirements are listed within the details section and all minors, those under the age of 18, must be accompanied by an adult with proper ID (buses are not equipped with booster seats or infant carriers)
- Appropriate waivers must be signed and will be distributed by Let's Go Outdoors activity coordinators before the trip and/or at the trip site
